Could you check for WiFi at the school for me. And if you can, could you see if there is a screen or white wall in the cafeteria that we could use for the projector.

Call my cell later if you want with the info.

Re: Blue Foamie

Gaston, Just a quick note to say that the little sbach is the perfect size for our small gym. I haven't even put the bigger one that I bought from you at Wingham Jets together yet because this one is so good!!
Angus flew mine and really liked it. He has the bigger one but it is a little large for our gym. Anyway, thanks for the airplane!!

Hi Lash
Thanks for for your comments, I really enjoy the smaller one also, lighter, less inertia, meaning much less damage if you hit something...which I never do.
I'm in Kitchener until Thursday for an ammonia refrigeration teaching assignment if someone wants to contact me.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hey guys, this aint anything to do with our Gaston Special foamies, but thought you might be interested in it for taking those indoor videos of the days events...
It's called "Mikey's FPV-3" a video hauler that has been a big hit for FPV taking... The original was 40" w/s but I reduced the plan to 30" w/s, for indoor as well as outdoor...
Built all from dollar store foam artboard, and some EPP I had laying around... Hotmelt, natch...
HK has a camera well suited for this, if they would ever get them back in stock.. At only 30 bucks, it's a great little video camera, several indoor shots/videos have been taken of our indoor flights...
Anyway, back to the FPV... If anyone is interested, I have the web site for you to get started on this great little fun/video flyer...
Art.

Ontario Re: Blue Foamie

Hi all:
Well after stressing out my Flatana over the last 2 years, and seeing a 1/4" blue foam Yak at the Woodstock Indoor Fly-in, I just had to get one. One of our club members had some, CNC cut, short kits made, so it's off to the model room for a quick build. This kit is a 31" ws, 24" body + 5" rudder + motor and prop. I will have to make a motor mount and a wire belly skid to protect the prop. A single 1/4" carbon tube should be ok in the center of the wing.
I will take some pics of the build, and post them for all to see. Hope it works out well. Thanks to all for all the good tips so far.

It looks a little different than the ones I make, I'm wondering who made it.
Blue foam is the way to go but it's hard to find.
Good luck with it.

Do you have the March 11 event this Sunday ?

Woodstock RC FC just had a Indoor Fly-in on the 25th of FEB. at Cowan Park Indoor Soccer and dual V-ball court. The hall has a 25' high open room with smooth floor.
