It was a treat to see Paul fly, he's an accomplished flyer, we all enjoyed having you with us. Feel free to visit us anytime. Even though a malfunction in the wall retraction mechanism only allowed us to use only 2/3 of the gym, that didn't seem to bother Paul.

Re: Blue Foamie

Another great indoor session. Thanks Gaston.

That definitely shows dedication for Paul to come all the way up for the afternoon. Did he have a chance to see your milling operation?

Yes, he was in my workshop and we made an Sbach. I really enjoyed his company, I'm hoping he'll be back soon.
Thanks to everyone who attend the indoor flying sessions, it's always a blast.

Re: Blue Foamie

Thanks Gaston,

I enjoyed your company too and visiting with everyone else that I met at the NOIC contest in August was fabulous.

Your CNC milling with vacuum table is very cool, thanks for showing me.

I will be planning to come back for the IMAC seminar in February and hope to see you again then.

Sorry I didn't have my new Blue Foam Axis in hand when you took my picture, although it can be seen on the floor to my left! Props to Foam Star Models for good flying planes that are reasonable and durable.

Re: Blue Foamie

We had some of our members who happen to not only fly but also race r/c cars. They set up an awesome track on the gym floor and had a great time. It only took a few minutes but it was amazing to see the results. They had a lap counter system linked to transponders on the cars. Hopefully they will be there every weekend.

You can see the layout of the track and a couple of the members, Chuck and Neil, Jim was taking the pictures.

Re: Blue Foamie

We had to cancel flying last weekend because the school yard wasn't plowed but a couple of our members called later in the afternoon saying that the plow had just finished. I let them in the gym and watched them fly their small helis and a vapor.

Re: Blue Foamie

Many of you probably saw Keith in his rccanada Bio. You might also know that he's a very good helicopter pilot. It didn't take very long to get comfortable with a foamy today. After going through 5 batteries without a scratch this afternoon, I have to admit, he'll be showing us some new tricks soon.
Good job Keith..
