Re: Blue Foamie

As you can see we're still flying, this week was a smaller group, we had twice that many people.

We had a great time practicing F3P again. The increased flying abilities have drastically improved since we started practicing a few weeks ago.

Re: Blue Foamie

This is great. I am glad you are having fun.
I wish there were more people in my area willing to try it. The flying abilities would improve too

I am sorry I missed your first post or forgot about it. Work has been crazy since I came back...

Were did you found the info ? The official rules of indoor aerobatic competition F3P could be found in the FAI sporting code section 4, vol F3 indoor r/c aerobatic power model 2013: http://www.fai.org/ciam-documents . It maybe a little bit too much to apply everything for sportsman.

There will be some report about our trip in Germany in the MAAC magazine and also in the canadian edition of Model Airplane News. There is so much to say that I will need a few articles

Re: Blue Foamie

Thanks Xavier
I found this 5.M.1. CLASS F3P INDOOR AEROBATIC POWER MODEL AIRCRAFT, I was mostly interested in the marking procedures as a guide since our little competition was only for fun within our group. I'll look at the link you gave me also. I'm anxious to read about your trip to Germany.
Thanks for the response

Re: Blue Foamie

Here are some pics taken by John Pearson Sunday.

Looks like I got busted, I flew an Osiris instead of a Blue Foamie for a while on Sunday. I was quite impressed with it's performance, they fly awesome.
The second picture is of Hugh and Spencer at the controls, they look pretty serious.

Re: Blue Foamie

Thanks Steph for taking this picture of Ray and myself prior to the maiden flights of those two 34" Axis. The test was awesome, performs like an F3P, better than expected, rock solid, predictable and very smooth.
