Hi Xavier
For a moment, I felt good...
We used a Turnigy 2204-14, a Turnigy Plush 6A esc, 3 HXT500 servos, Nanotech 300-2s battery and a 8/4.3 prop.
The plane put together with hot glue is only 5.7 oz or 162 grams.
It's pretty good considering an Osiris, assembled with CA can weigh up to 5.5 oz
I think it's perfect to practice F3P because they are very tough.
I'll try to take a video this weekend. Every F3P basic maneuver can be done very slowly, we were amazed.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi Keith
Unbelievable, that's exactly what I did last night...then I heard a voice, wake up honey, time to go to work.

Hi Gaston

My Axis doesn't look like yours. What are all the changes and why, please.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi Al

This new one was designed and milled this week, I didn't know I was going to do it until a couple days ago. It has a wider wingspan, more wing area and speed brakes to fly like an F3P model.

How do you like it? Will it be the standard Axis offering or an option? Will it fly OK on the power package I got from your FoamStar site?

I could use a slower Axis as our gym is very small and the walls show up real quick. My hovering is coming along well; no F3P stuff though.

Al

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi Al
This model will fly in any gym, no matter how small it is. The power system is the same as the 27in. Locks in during hovers extremely well, I just grab it in front of me very easily. About 20 people tried it in the last few days and they all loved it.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi Lee

I can do the music, that's about it, I'm not so sure about all those fancy maneuvers, but I enjoyed watching the video and listening to the music.
