Oh sure... you'll go to Keswick, but it's been over a year since I've seen you in London

(Totally kidding! But it would be nice to see you 'round these parts again someday. )

Cheers,
J

Re: Blue Foamie

No worries Gaston.... as I said, I was just kidding. I know it's a LOOOOOONG drive to get down this way.

Do you ever go through Parry Sound? I have in-laws there that we visit sometimes. Though, I'm not sure where / if there are any flying venues there.

Cheers,
J

Re: Blue Foamie

Good morning all indoor flyers....
Had a good evening last Friday night at the Cobble Hills indoor event, lot's of air time, not too many out for the second night, but it's still fair weather outside, give it a month or so, we'll all be indoor..
Here is a new one I'm working on.. Lacey M 10, an old indoor FF stick n tissue model that I build several years ago and converted it to RC using the Vapor Brick and Brushed motor combo..
I have since enlarged the plan to 20" wingspan and am in the process of constructing it now..
Hotwire cut the wing, blue foam, added a balsa TE. Tail feathers out of 3mm foam, plan made, ready to transfer to more foam and cut... Fuse is all FLAT so building should be easy for this ole feller.... Out of 4mm and 2mm foam.
Outrunner, small, lipo of 400mAh and a 10Amp ESC, Orange rx from HK...
More photos to come as assembly goes along.
Art.

Re: Blue Foamie

Looks cool Art... you should start a build log on it in a separate thread. Share your building tips, etc. Link it here too.

Re: Blue Foamie

Gaston,

No time to read through the whole thread..............

Do you have a website for Foam Star or how do I know what planes you have and how to order. Couldn't make it to Keswick on Sunday.
