Darn - I like my Axis better than the Arrow but I know that is not the overall consensus. Guess I am lucky I picked up the spare Axis in August !!

Re: Blue Foamie

There will be open flying after the ECC event from 6pm to 10pm at the Cobourg Community Center on November 15th, 2014. I should have my Arrow there to fly and let people to try.

Not a bad idea Hank, let me know how you like it.
We didn't have many people the first couple weekends but we had at least 15 last Sunday at the gym

Re: Blue Foamie

HKing is crazy these days, shipping is out of price, its unbelievable.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hey Jean Pierre,

In addition to whatever Gaston comes up with you could also check out CST for carbon and other building materials:

http://www.cstsales.com/index.html

They may be more expensive, but they are US based at least.

Also, for batteries some guys have mentioned on other RCC threads there are some Canadian vendors that carry some of the HK stuff. I suspect they must mark it up some, but might be worth a quick search.

For what it's worth, I've also bought some 2S lipos from:

http://chinahobbyline.com/

If you check their site, they do have a US depot from which some batteries are available. I found their shipping to be quite reasonable (via USPS) and didn't have to incur any Canada Post brokerage/duties when they came in - note: mileage may vary on that, but you can get lucky now an then .

Hope this is helpful,
J.
