[QUOTE=tech8;605879]Hey alright!

I recently built a FF replica Yak 55 out of blue foam. Andrew (yakityak) let me copy his template he used for his yak featured in the video posted here on this thread. I find the Yak to be more resposive it's "snappier" during aerobatics and 3D compared to the clik. On the other hand is not as precice at knife edge flight and drawing "strait lines"as the clik is . I think alot of that is due to the absence of the SFG's although there are other differences.
I decided to decorate the Yak like my Extreme Flight Yak 54 . Don't ask how long it took to colour the whole plane red.

Andrew's plane(tech looks and flies awesome, I saw him fly in Milton last night, he's a very good pilot, Andrew Collins flew it also, I must have had a couple heart attacks watching him. The paint job is pretty darn good , I must say, looks great.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi Michael

I'm having problems sending emails from my hotel and couldn't answer your question the other day, if the esc you mentioned is rated for 7 amps, you should be ok as long it's not much more than 10 grams. I'll email you from my home computer when I get home.

Re: Blue Foamie

I was very fortunate to meet Michael last Sunday in Toronto, I flew a foamie a bit but it was quite windy, still performed very well and he seemed happy, we can tell by his genuine smile. It was nice to know you Michael and I hope to see you again.

Re: Blue Foamie

Here are a couple pics taken during our NOMAC Swap meet last Saturday at Centennial Arena in Hanmer, we had a great time upstairs and were spoiled by being able to fly foamies on the arena floor during the meet. I'd like to thank all the guys who flew and also the spectators.

From left to right:

Fred Pella, Kent Fabbro, myself, Rolly Pigeau and Spencer Webster.
