Re: Blue Foamie

Thanks Gaston, The plane flew very well. I put a 2S500 in the nose and let her rip in the wind.

I tooks the plane out in the park, hand launch and off she climbs.

20ft up and a gust of wind tossed her belly up and off down wind. No problem, with a generious tail size, she turned around on her tail and headed upwind. Gave her full throttle and she cam back to me and landing nearby. Grass caugh the prop and she's flip on her nose. No damage, LOL.

The plane works great off the mills. Thanks Gaston.

Hi

Take a look at the build thread link posts 47-48 and 49 and see if those pictures are good enough, if not, let me know.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi
It seems to fly very well even though it's bigger and heavier, it's conforting to know that it retains the same good flying characteristics, thanks for posting the videos.
I noticed in the first video that you were flying close to vehicles, you should try to find a safer location, if something happened, it could be devastating for you and your parents, accidents do happen, even with electrics, maybe you can find a flying club and join MAAC.
It's refreshing to see someone your age with good building skills and such enthusiasm.
Thanks again.

Re: Blue Foamie

Thanks,

Well i've flown right next to my dads car a few times and on the streets a bunch, i try to aviod flying when theres car around, but i was too excited. And when i have time i go fly at a dirt field a few minutes walk away

I do have a maac that i use sometimes go and fly as a guest at a club down the road about 5 minutes drive away, but it cost about $150 to join. And my dads way to busy and i dont fly glow/nitro YET.

P.S if you see the second video at the last 1-2 minutes the aileron linkage fell off so i had the slowest roll rate and hard to keep hovering with out torqueing
