Even after all that milling, it's still very strong compared to depron and easily repairable, it's all put together with hot glue. I was hit four or five times today, prop strikes, head-ons and everything under the son, it still flies like a dream.
I even tried a 460mah battery, flies well and surprisingly still hovers at half power but performs better with a 360mah.
The best part is that it's only five bucks for the fuselage and assembled in a couple hours.
I had to make a minor change to the leading edge, due to the milling, which will be added to the assembly instructions on our website very soon.

Did you mean everything under the SUN or everything including Dan's SON? LOL Had fun even though my new design sucked. I will probably do the update tomorrow.

Re: Blue Foamie

Well, it's 2:00 am and I just got home from my Dad's where him and I threw together this model. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=375893

Tomorrow morning we will mount the servos, adjust it's CG and hope for the best. Nice thing about this model is that you can build 2 complete planes from one of Gastons foam sheets! Just think, 2 planes, $5.00 bucks..Hmmm If it survives the test flight, maybe you will all see it next Sunday....

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi Dan;
Got the muvee this morning. It plays well and is great. I like the format and the music is excellent. You got some really nice pictures and groupings. There were not so many crashes yesterday as there used to be. We are all getting better and all my repairs were due too my own mistakes. Good to see the large turnout, although in the past that many fliers usually meant problems. Keep up the good work.

Hi Dan

Once again , you outdid yourself with the video, very well put together and excellent music, awesome work, keep it up, we all appreciate it. I just hope Disney doesn't see these and we loose our cinematographer...

Did you have any luck finding that foam locally, there's nothing that can replace it at the same cost and endurance, I just wish it was more readily available in Canada.

Re: Blue Foamie

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Too bad the lighting sucks. Otherwise the photos would be much sharper. It is really difficult to photograph a 10 inch fighter jet doing mach 20.
