The music with the muvee made all the difference. It was enjoyable to say the least. It's amazing how much detail some fellows have added, enough detail to double the amount of work. Nice jobs all of them!!! When music is played with a video, it interferes with the sound, but with pictures like this one, it's awesome.....Keep up the good work...I mean play...!!!

Tomorrow morning we will mount the servos, adjust it's CG and hope for the best. Nice thing about this model is that you can build 2 complete planes from one of Gastons foam sheets! Just think, 2 planes, $5.00 bucks..Hmmm If it survives the test flight, maybe you will all see it next Sunday....
Hi Donovan

I was looking into the plane you and your dad are building, if you use the same power system we use on the Click and the Yak 55, you should easily be able to bring the AUW close to 5 oz but that's just my opinion, looks good.

Merco Man
Thanks Harry, it's people like you who made this adventure so successful, without you guys, I'd be watching cartoons or some cooking show like the preceding winters. I really appreciate all the efforts and sacrifices made by our indoor group of determined and talented people.

Thanks and Happy New Year.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hey Gaston.

I mounted the servo's today and tried to program elevons with my Dad's JR 6 channel. I noticed that because I am only using a 4 channel receiver, I can't. His manual says you must plug the opposite elevon into channel #6 AUX, wich of course we don't have. So....on my Futaba's defence..(i know how much you love them)..lol...I was able to easily program them on channel one and two. So...my Futaba was easier to program that your beloved JR....Hmmmm...lol. Am I wrong about the programing or what?? I can't wait to test fly it.. I am using the power setup out of my Dad's Clik's! It should haul!
Thanks again for getting back into this wonderful hobby. I'm sure my wife thanks you for getting me out of the house every Sunday!!

Re: Blue Foamie

I've never had any problems with a 4 channel Jr receiver, one elevon servo connects to channel no.2 (ailerons) and the other to no.3 (elevator) you should not need 6 channels, only 4,
.What model of Jr radio do you have.

Donovan

Most Jr radios I've had, when I programmed elevons or delta wing, the left elevon servo was connected to the aileron channel and the right elevon was connected to the elevator channel, I have to be blind, I can't find the connection instructions in the manual, I think I need new glasses or even a new brain

JRXP662 manual

It looks like you can only mix aileron with rudder and flaps with elevator. No ail to elev mix.
