Hi

So far, the only location we found is Lowe's, I had the same answer from Convoy in Sudbury, the right stuff is 1/4 in or .23 inch as Lowe's call it.

I just got a package of foam for Christmas! (4' x 50' x 1/4")

I'll be flying foam for quite a while!

My son is in Sarnia and just crossed the border to shop in December - Guelph is not that far away - you could get together with a couple of buddies and make the trip to the local Lowes as my son did.

If there's a will... there's a way!

I routinely visit family in Niagara-on-the lake. The Lowes in Amherst NY is about a 40min drive. Now if I can just find my passport...

I have my personal stash of FFF... but it's been dwindling. Now at 3/4 bundle.

I make to Sudbury 2-3 times per year... I have family there as well. I plan to be there at the end of May for a fishing trip. Maybe I'll bring a couple of my planes with me this time?

Funny how I cam across this one, met up a fellow RCCanada member located in SW Ontario not too far from where I live. Surprisingly, he was selling his stash. He had an entire bundle! This is the double sided film version BTW... I understand it's only single sided now?

Re: Blue Foamie

I milled another Yak 55 Friday night, it weighs 5.1 oz, I'm hoping to bring the weight down to 5.0 oz on the next one, I'll let a couple guys from North Bay try it and see what happens, I have a spare one.....

Re: Blue Foamie

I built a Yak from your plan and flew it last week. I is about 6.5 ounces. I like it better than the click. At 5.1 ounces it must be even better. I seems to fly "lighter" than the click but it does fall off on rolls and knife edge more than the click. I have a "diet" click on the board and will see if that makes a difference.

How do you do the milling?
