Hi Foamball

Your plane looks good, I hope it went well. Most of us fly the Blue Foamie Yak, some are flying the Click, they both fly very well, even in small gyms, the odd time we see some Depron models but they are very fragile.

Re: Blue Foamie

Well, tested it yesterday at our club field.... VERY windy but it did fly... Have to move the connectors IN on the aleron servo as the movement was waaaayyyy too much, very quick rolls..
At least I know it flies and have done the change now, all ready for the indoor program, starting in November...
Here's a better pic of the spot for our indoor...

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi foamball

I'm glad you had some good flights, one thing to remember is that you need to use rudder in a gym, you'll find out very quickly.
The gym looks ok but it's hard to tell from the pics, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Re: Blue Foamie

Rudder? You aint kiddin... From past experience with just RET, that's all I used, lot's of rudder and some elevator, but now, with a 4 channel setup, things is gonna get hairy till I get used to the rudder on the left stick... Just fly slow till I get the hang of it....
I'd like to get a couple decals for it, from the picture of the YAK 54 I found, but don't know how....
I presume it would have to be on clear sticky back, printed off my printer?????
Any ideas??

Re: Blue Foamie

Hi Paintball
Our LIFT group will be starting in November, unless October is a lousey month outdoors, but it's slated for November start. Then, one a month up till next March.... Hopefully, we can get enough guys interested to increase these events, maybe biweekly...
I've just gotten a plan for an Edge 540 so off to the workshop today to start cuttin EPP.... Another 22" 3D...
When does your indoor start?

I met the principal this week and it looks good for this year again, we have to reapply every year, it's just a formality. We should be able to use the gym within a couple of weeks.
