On thing I noticed on another one I saw on this forum, was that it had a lot more CF trusses added, is that really necessary?

That color scheme is awesome, I'm jealous, looks real good. Depending on the type of flying, you might need extra bracing, just like the gentleman in the video from Surrey BC, you can certainly reinforce it with more 1 mm bracing, his still ended up very light weight. Don't worry about your little mishap, don't tell anyone but one time I glued the bottom of the fuse on the top instead..

A friend of mine and club member Hugh, says he's been using a glue gun sold by Michael's Craft Stores and has had good success with it, he got it for around $2.99, here's the link.

Re: Blue Foamie

Well I test flew it for a couple of flights, and all I got to say is.....AWESOME, it flys great, nice and slow and it hovers beautifully also, flat spins are nice and smooth, loops, inverted loops and inverted flying you name it, it can do it. I got about 4-5 min. of flying time on a 360mah li-poly also.
Thanks for a great product Gaston!

Hope to see you at wingham this year, I'll just be a spectator, maybe bring a Habu or something, again.
I was one of the guys that flew one of those on Sun. when it was overcast, this past year.

I'm hoping to be there also, I'll make sure we get together. I left very early Sunday morning.

Thanks again Jonathan

Re: Blue Foamie

Mornin Guys...
Well, I must say "Awsome" myself... Even with the short start yesterday on assembly. Got one of those glue guns myself and in between "Honey Dews" got the CF rods glued on the wing... The gun isn't as quick as my old one was, but at least it don't melt the foam if you touch it....
I liked the paint job you did Johnathon, have to come up with something different myself, when I get to that stage... And your test flight? Well, all I gotta say is "DangNab", you are a swift one...
Wingham? Hummmmm must mark that one on my "To Do" List for next years outdoor events, would like to see Gaston there....
Thanks all, you really came up with something this time, Gaston.. Now, back to gluein.

Re: Blue Foamie

Hummmmm, rudder control, I'm used to that on a mode 2 when it's only RET.. But, I see I have to go back to my old days of Giant scale, rudder on left stick.... Should be VELY INTELESTING, Schultz, for the start, but like riding a bike, you never forget... Must lay the soft mats on the floor, to absorb the rough bounces, ha ha...
Damn, wish I could build faster, must be old age, or Honey Dews lists...
Really enjoying looking at all them parts Gaston, and contemplating which glue to use, hotmelt or Foam to Foam from Ontario Glues...... Hummmmmmm, better get back to it before I go for my swim.....

Hi Ray
That's funny.... but you're absolutely right, I'm always impressed by your talents and I should remind people that if it wasn't for you, I'd still be milling them with a Dremel. Ray is a genius when it comes to designing CNC's and programming, he's also an excellent website designer, don't hesitate to contact him if you need computer work done.
But most of all, he's a good guy and a good friend....
