Thanks Gaston
Hi Bryan

I love your decorating skills, looks awesome. As far as the weight, seems to be on track, I'm looking forward to hear your AUW and the maiden flight, when will that happen.

Lookin' good Brian, looks like we'll have at least a couple milled Yaks at the next indoor on the 16th.

Hello choopi1,
The necessary CF rods are included in the kits that Gaston has. They are also available on the internet from Hobby King or many other on line hobby shops. Also check the RC Canada sponsors and your Local Hobby Shop if you have one in your area. You could also PM gbjets.

Re: Blue Foamie

Lighter motor? Well, as an experiment, with such a light aircraft, I told Gaston that I was going to start with a 10gr motor, on a 7/3.5 prop... If it aint enough POOP, then I'll try my 17gr one on an 8/4.3 and so on and so on, till I get the right combination... Hey, it's an experiment, so why not start at the bottom?
It's a fantastic building model, easiest one I've found yet, and so complete... Every thing you need, cept the glue/motor/Esc/lipo. of which I think Gaston has supplies, or can tell you where to get them...
Thanks Gaston, you done well, "Charlie Brown"....

Hi Art

You might have to move the battery ahead of the landing gear struts, I would check the CG, it might be tail heavy, especially with a 10 gr. motor, also what size of battery is it.
I also found a typo in the assembly manual, the CG should be 60mm, not 160mm, I just corrected the manual and I'll send everyone a revised copy, sorry about that...
Thanks for the compliments and Happy new Year to everyone

Re: Blue Foamie

Nice Art, I'm using a Eflite "Park 250" motor in mine with the prop Gaston reccommended, its a 15g motor w/ mount, and it flys it with tonnes of authority, and the total weight with 360mah batt. is 4.5 ozs.

Re: Blue Foamie

One thing I wanted to mention also was how dureable this blue foamy is, I gave it a couple of good bounces off walls a such and no damage whatsoever, I was hovering with it once and the batt. died, so it fell to the floor about a 5' fall, tail first with just a couple of minor wrinkles in the foam, amazing stuff when compared to the depron foamies. I can see why you prefer it Gaston.
