I can see why you prefer it Gaston.
Thanks Jonathan

Blue foamies are responsible for most of the indoor flying around the North, we must have at least 50 people flying in this area and if it weren't for the flue foamies, you would be lucky to find half a dozen. The endurance of the blue foam makes it a viable alternative to Depron, they will sustain a lot of mishaps and I've certainly had my share of them.

Thanks again.

Hugh

That's true but I'll let you use it as usual... I think we should use a number system for the glue station, there's always a line-up. That's the beauty of it all, it's so quick and easy to get back in the air...

Re: Blue Foamie

I have three lipos I'm gonna use, 2C 340mAh, 2C 400mAh, and a 3C 340mAh.. With the lightness of it, I think the 3C will be the ticket, but won't know for sure till the 16th.. Props? got 7/3.5's and 8/4.3, and an old SF GWS, 8/4. Will be a busy day testing these, but since we increased the time slot, I'll probably be all shook up after the first flight, ha ha....
I can't say enough about this aircraft, it's a beauty to behold, even on the building table.
And, I have already ordered another, BIGGER, motor, and will have the mm set up for a quick change, if the 10gr'er aint up to par...
Here's to the 16th......
Anybody else wanna join us in London, come on in, it's a warm site...

Re: Blue Foamie

Even though we're still in the Holiday spirit, we had a good group of people who were at the gym today. Once again everyone had a good time.
Here are a couple pics:

The first pic shows Hugh and his milled Yak, he installed a 10 g motor on it and surprisingly enough, it flew very well, as we suspected you couldn't hover but rolls, loops, knife edges,etc.. were fine. It makes the model more relaxing to fly, if you're not to concerned with 3d, that's the way to go.
That should be good news for you Art, it works very well.

Here are the last three pics.

Elizabeth with her grandpa Red who are both smiling, Lee Pevost who didn't have to work today for a change and Brendan making minor adjustments.
