I got my first "blue foamy" in the air yesterday at our indoor facility. What a "blast" to fly,I had a ball!
My plane ready to fly is 4.9oz/137g...
This "foamy" is the best thing since "sliced bread" That's a great design Gaston,I've already got another one and I'm shooting for 4.2oz/117g or less.
Get a batch of them cut for your "swap meet" 'cus us Soo boys are coming down to get a bunch

Thanks Art
Nice pictures of the event, looks like you had a good time, hopefully you'll be able to fly yours very soon.

I'm glad to see that you enjoyed yourself, to tell you the truth, we've been having a blast for the last five or six years, thanks to blue foam. I'll be ready for you at the swap meet, I already started, as far as weight, I'll be posting something tonight, that might surprise you.

Re: Blue Foamie

In our never ending quest for lighter foamies, Hugh beat me today, his Yak 55 only weighed 3.91 oz AUW but it's not over yet..., he made the mistake of lending me 3 smaller, lighter but more powerful servos than he used today. I'll let you know how that works out next week.

Here's the set up he used today, look how happy he was today...
Servos: 3-HK S 0251
Motor: HK 2402
Esc: Tgy Plush 6A
Receiver: Orange rx fasst compatible
Battery: Rhino 360mAh 2s

Here's what happened to me today, everything was fine until Hugh showed up with his foamy. I thought I was fine with my 4.15oz that I just put together the night before, somehow it didn't work out but it was a a blast trying, it's all in good fun...
Here was my set up, anyways.

Re: Blue Foamie

Here's another pic from Sunday's session

Spencer with his nicely decorated Yak ( I asked him what was the meaning of his painting, he says he doesn't know yet ) and Kent doing some serious flying in the background.
