Got this on a trade last weekend (thanks jimzee !!)

I am new to helicopters and have been reading up on these things and have done a setup as best I could (hopefully my pitch guage will show up this week).
I can get it to be light on the skids but the controller led is in the red, and I am at full throttle.
I have read that it should hover at 3/4 throttle. The blades are level when I did the setup, which was with the throttle up switch on and the throttle lever at 50%.
I have done the washer swap on the bladeholders lubricated the shaft, the swashplate is level and the blades change pitch like they are supposed to.
It is almost like I need more pitch at 3/4 throttle to get this thing to lift off.
So my first question is can I dial in more pitch to the blades so when I get to 3/4 throttle it will take off or have I overlooked something else???
