Also watchout for the dreaded air vents.

Got mine hung up on one for about 15 minutes. Had to send a foamy up to get it down.. Wasn't pretty... pieces flying everywhere.... from the FOAMY though not my Vapour.... it came loose and I flew it to the ground. Lots of depron floating down around it though.

Re: Vapor Combat Indoor

Oh the carnage!!

lol Sorry for taking shots Bob, I love the Vapor. Its just that for me, all the excitement of RC Combat is in the adrehneline rush you get when you fly 5 minutes of heart pounding chasing and evading. I just dont see that in this tyoe of combat.

Having said that, if it helps in introducing anyone into the real world of RC Combat, and gets them wanting to build a WW1 or WW2 combat plane, then all the power to you!

Re: Vapor Combat Indoor

Hey Dan:
Every time I go out to the Cobble Hills Combat field I get so excited and want to buy one of the .25 WW one and two combat planes that I am just beside myself. The fact is that I have so many hobbies and sports already that I don't think that I can take another one on. If you have ever looked at my website - you will realize that I am into hang Gliding big time and we also windsurf, Kayak, water ski and now I am into the R/C planes and Helicopters and then I am also married so that does not leave much time for the Honey, does it.
Your Albatross is in my eye one of the best looking WW one planes in the air and that is the one I would like to have and maybe someday I will if I don't expire first.
The Vapor combat is certainly tame compared to the gassers but it gives me something to do during the winter and streamers make it a lot more fun.
I am a adrenelin junkie too so I would love to be flying the gassers again. I flew control line combat with Ted Banks 45 years ago and we were pretty good at it at that time but I am sure that my reflexes are slower now so I expect that the WW one would be all I coud handle.

Best wishes all, Bob Grant
