NUBE Needs battery Help !!

Hey guys I'm new here to this forum and to the hobby. I have purchased myself a HPI E-Firestorm stadium truck. I'm using "PEAK RACING" Power Max Pro 3300mAh-Ni-MH batteries. I have a Duratrax Intellipeak Digital Pulse Charger. Now as a nube I didn't exactly follow the instructions on charging or even read them, but anyhow the first chage the batterey ever got was from a basic wall plug charger. It seem to charge the battery and worked ok. I then upgraded to the Duratrax charger. I've trickle charged it and fast charged it and can't seem to get more then 5 min out of the battery. The truck is all stock and i'd think i should get more run time then that? The batteries came in a 2 pack, I still have the 2nd battery in the package and will search online for the correct way to charge it. But as for this battery what can be wrong with it? Is there something I can do to make it work? Thanks in advance guys.

Question Re: NUBE Needs battery Help !!

I have a similar battery but different charger, and I charge mine at 2.5 to 3 amps seems to give good results! I also hand monitor until battery becomes warm to touch, not hot ,sometimes charger peak setting trips differently on some batteries and will get hotter than others?

Re: NUBE Needs battery Help !!

Make sure that you fully discharge you cell packs before putting them on the charger, or they will get a "memory" and will only charge to that point from then on.

Does your charger have a discharge or cycle feature? I have a Great planes Triton 2 and I can get my packs to full or better than full (630mAh out of a 600mAh pack).
