The RCAF Harvard was painted with 1-GP-12 a/b yellow 5-2. Another paint code that may correspond to modern specifications is 5-2 505-101

These are original RCAF drawings dated 11-Mar-1959.
Fully restored.
Drawing size about 18" x 24"

All the colors are shown. Including sizes, dimensions, and position of decals.

I have alot of old RCAF prints for a variety of aircraft.

I can get a copy made if you want to cover the cost, + postage.

Where are they from?
Me, no other source that I know of.

In digital for?
No, paper prints only.

Re: Harvard Colour Code

My undestanding is that it is very difficult to get that colour of yellow. I beleive that it was one of the ones affected by the push to removed hazardous components (e.g. lead) from paints. Even the professional restorers have a poblems. I believe that the trainers at the Warbird Museum in Hamilton are painted in a modern yellow which does not match the old colour.
