Well, yes, I have - seen them, that is. Very nice, expensive project. However, if you've got the bucks, go for it.

Saw one or two back at the Shuswap Lake fly in BC about 1991. I'll see if I can find the pix. BTW, it was not Sea Commander then as I recall.

The mold for the Beaver was originally done by Jim Barr probably 20-25 years ago. I think Murrey at Coastline Hobbies produced a kit for a while and Gordy who started Sea Commander did the glasswork for him. I assume the molds were then sold to Ryan who operates Sea Commander now. I don't know anything about the current kit but over the years, I have seen several Beavers built from these molds and they all fly well.
