Re: what have you been building all winter??

I had the opportunity last fall to go to the Hendricks museum in Charlotte, NC. I'm not much of a Nascar fan but that was pretty amazing. I bought a couple used lug nuts from one of Dale Jr. cars and gave them to my wife's cousin who's a major Dale Jr. fan. He thought that was pretty neat. We also got a tour of Lowe's international speedway which was pretty cool. We were supposed to get to do a driving school but got rained out.!!! So the instructor took us around the track in a 15 passenger mini-van with all the lights out and then turned them all on at once. I was totally amazed at how much of an angle there is to the track in the corners!! And how loud the cars were!!!!!!! The cars we were to drive we just over 600HP and man were they loud. He was saying the real race cars were over 800HP!!

Proud owner of a Hitec A9!!
