Sorry Randy, NO boat ramp.

We are on a rocky shore river.. no dock just a jetty blown out out of the rock.

Havde to drive 10km to launch my boat then bring through 3 lakes with shallow narrows and into the river.

Yeah sorry that you can't make it Scot. Where are the rest of you Ottawa guys? Looks like a great weekend weather wise (fingers crossed) and the field is almost ready. I even spent the afternoon filling in gopher holes for you long landers out there

Put in one flight today after gopher hole filling. It was interesting to see a 40 lb airplane pushed sideways about 100 feet on takeoff The wind was ridiculous but I made it through the routine a few times before undertaking a half throttle landing with lots of interesting rudder corrections!!
Also tested out my work at the far end and it was just fine....
Looking forward to seeing some early birds tomorrow (Bob Hudson)
