Anyone else flying one of these??

I bought one this winter from cf-drg and am powering it with an Irvine Q72 purchased from cassat. I am currently using an APC 13x6 prop but will be trying a 14x4 as suggested by ED S next. Lots of good advice and good buys from RCC members. Thank you guys!!

This little plane is a blast to fly. With the Irvine Q72, she will go straight up and out of site in a hurry. The takeoffs were much easier than I was expecting with -50% expo. And the landings, into a slight headwind, are rivalled only by our heli bretheren! I am still trying to master the inverted flatspin, but I hope that will come with some more practice.

You can fly Hitec or use the other "low tech" stuff!!

Re: Hanger 9 Tango

Hi Curtis,

I have one. I agree the plane is a blast. Like you said, slight head wind and you can hover the little bugger onto the runway. I have a Saito 72 and it has plenty of power. The Tango is my wind plane. I can't tell you exactly what the wind speed's were this particular day, but no one else was flying. My ball cap would not stay on my head. Not the biggest, badass plane around, kind of like the ugly girl with a great personality. One of my favorite's. Just a blast!!!!!

P.S I am using APC 13x4w on mine. Works great.
