In the following 1 1/2 years he adapted Walbro carbs to his intake tract and has a new ign. supplier..He also did some modifications to the internals of the engine..I don't know what they are but I believe after I sent my engine in the only thing original was the crankcase..All internal pieces and cylinders were replaced.

I had an old style DA 100 on MTW canisters at the time when I furst received the Mintor.I weighed both engines complete ready to fly without prop.DA 8.15 lbs. Mintor 8.25 lbs.Mintor builds their own canisters and headers.

It has the same mounting and prop pattern as DA/3W..It is 1" shorter from mount to prop hub..

The engine has always run strong from day 1..As I showed in an earlier post a mejzlik 28/10 @6740..The next closest engine I had was a BME 115 @6610 the the 3W then the DA.

I only have 3 flights on it but it has performed admirably.Very easy to set and a very smooth runner. No leaks anywhere and a lot of torque.

And of course bling bling bling which no one can match

Very cool Jack. I'll keep my eye open on it. They definitely sound promising. I may try one myself. As I said, I was pretty impressed with it.
