Anyone have/use one of these? Just that I was thinking of getting one to try on my 9C.. At $89 USd thought it would be good to give it a try on parkflyers....

Re: Assan 2.4 mod from Hobbycity
There are two(both out of stock). Each includes a 6 an a 7 channel receiver.
One is ...... Compatible with.
FUTABA: 3PM,3PK, 7U, 8U, 8J, 9C , 9Z, and FN series.
HITEC: Optic 6, Eclipse 7.
The other is ..... Compatible with.
JR: 347,388,783,U8,PCM10,PCM10S,PCM10SX,PCM10IIs,8103, 9303
I have the first in my optic 6.
It's bound with 12 different Assan (3~7 channel) receivers. I've got about 100 hours flight time spread over them, and have yet to see a glitch or loss of signal at distances over a mile. Works great for indoor and outdoor flying. I run a lipo in my optic 6 and never charge higher than 11.5 volts (good for 20+ hours of flying between charges). Others have blown their Assan modules with fully charged lipo's.
I'm completely satisfied with the HC Assan prices and equipment. They now have a Hobby city (Wfly) 9 channel 8 memory TX for $69 U.S. Just add your own FM or 2.4ghz module and you're ready to go.
