I thought i got burnt once on a Super Tigre engine i sold on E-bay. The purchaser was in Italy. I shipped the engine with tracking and requiring a signature. 6 weeks went buy and he said he didn't receive anything and canada post was less than helpful. Anyways i refunded the buyers money to preserve my 100% feedback and because since the confirmation requireing signature on pick up hadn't come back i could only assume 2 things, either he found a way around it or it really didn't show up. Anyways 9 MONTHS later i get a e-mail from this guy saying the engine showed up and he sent me the money again. Turns out it was held up in Italian customs....... crazy, but at least the guy was honest enough to send me the money again.
however after that transaction i won't ship overseas again.. to much of a hassle.
As for on RCC i have yet to have a bad transaction but i also check the feedback a person has. Also on RCU i just finished up a deal with a guy that refused payment until i received the items and was happy with their condition!
