I want to thank fellow club members and " Malcolm Gray " Event director for his efforts on making Aircadet Day at the Reidau a great event for all. Local Aircadets Squadrons were invited to see - smell and touch our models as well get some stick time on a trainer & buddy box thanks to flight instructor Manfred Kahle. Local Hobby shop owner Fred Zufelt of Dynamic Hobbies ensured one lucky lad went home with park-flyer type model. Don't worry the future pilots of Canada were well fed on the best hotdogs we could offer. Through out the day many club members put on a great display of flying and the entertainment was greatly appreciated with many owwwes and ahh's.

BRAVO-ZULU guys!!!!!

Re: Rideau RC Flyers Hosted Aircadet day

Great work, good to see people supporting the Air Cadets.
I used to volunteer my services to the local Sqdn and take all the kids for flights in a Cessna 172. it was a lot of fun doing the walk around pre-flight with them and taking them for rides.
They all seemed to have a great time, and one or two have gone on to get their pilot's licence.
