Hello fello fliers,

I'm wondering if anyone would happen to know where we might be able to fly Nitro powered planes around Edson AB without getting to much attention from the R.C.M.P.

A bunch of us went out behind our High School this weekend to fly our Electric planes and had a blast, getting lots of flight time.

Just as we were packing up for the nite, we were visited by our local law enforcement. Apperently someone saw the "electric" planes out their window and reported us for flying " GAS " RC planes in town limits. The constables were very pleasant after we assured them we only had electric park fliers..

We are still looking for a nice field to get the nitros in the air. I have my SSE to maiden as well as my BHM Spitfire.

I had a friend that had access to a field, but he moved away last winter.

Re: Flying around Edson

If you go a km north of the printers and a bit west, there is some nice flat land there.
Maybe ask some of the landowners and feel them out. Most don't like the noise on early mornings.
Maybe even take some photos with you, so they know you are not just trying to plant big tall radishes!
