Hi Everyone,

I have a couuple questions. First, I fly a Blade mCX indoors right now (great little heli) what kind/size heli is my next step. I have to fly indoors at home and would like to progress to the next model. Should also mention that I am self taught, if that makes a difference. Second, are there any good books/websites for indoor electric heli flying?

Thanks for any info.

Re: Next Step

I would recommend to purchase a SIM. From the mCX, I would suggest a co-axial helicopter from E-Flite, E-Sky, etc..

Helicopters are naturally unstable and requires constant concentration and stick input.

Practice tail-in hovering, then, move to side-in (both left and right side-in) hovering, finally, move to nose-in hovering. This will take time, so, be patient! Once you are confident with your orientations, you could attempt forward flight, circles, and figure 8s!

A co-axial helicopter and a SIM will assist you with learning to pilot a helicopter.

Take your time and have fun...

Re: Next Step

Hi Ron,

If you have to do your flying in your house, there might not be much to move up to from the mCX!

That is, of course, unless your home has a gym.
