Airplane suggestions

Ok, I've looked at websites galore, and can't seem to find a plane for a power system I have. I'm looking for some suggestions please.

I've got an E-Flite power 15, a CC thunderbird 54, and some 2200 mah 25c 11.1's.

I'm looking for something sport and semi-scale looking. Not really into a glider style, but maybe a hotliner. At this time of year, an ARF would be the way to go. A light wing loading would be an advantage for me.

If I go with something from E-Flite, or Electrifly, I need to get a different motor, and probably servos as well. I've got a collection of HS-55's and a small berg receiver to use as well.

I'm willing to look at all suggestions with great interest. Many thanks, Daren

This is not necessarily sport, but it uses your equipment/components

Re: Airplane suggestions

I'd pick up a Turnigy motor from Hobby city and base your decision more around that. The motors are priced cheap but perform extremely well.

That setup with a Turnigy SK 35-36 or SK 35-42 would work great in a multitude of planes from 3D Hobby Shop, Great Planes or others.

I've got a similar setup in my Multiplex Acro Master. I'm running the SK 35-42 and a CC Phoenix 45 on 2200, 2350 and 2500 3s lipos. The Acro Master is an awesome aerobatic plane with a super light wing loading. It would be my choice, as it can do pattern and 3D with ease, but can be flown sport with lower rates. Very fun plane.

Re: Airplane suggestions

I second the motion to the Acromaster. Something you can setup in a couple evenings at home and have a ball of fun with.

I have been fying an E-Flite Piper Pawnee with an E-Flite 15 since last year. Nice flier and semi scale as well. I flew with a 3S2500 LiPo.
