Have about four tanks through an asp61 fs. Running 15% nitro. Swings a 12x6 apc prop at 11,000 rpm wot and still plenty rich. Idle still drops of after sitting for a while but transitions nice to full throttle. Very scale like on a 40 size Pheonix decathalon.

I never weighed it but I do know that it is a bit heavier than the OS46FX that I swapped out. I will borrow someone's tach first chance I get and post some data for you.

I am running the recommended 11x7 prop with 15% nitro.

I think I will try out the 12x6 and 12x7. Have to toss them in my next order from HK

the weight is correct, my digit scale shows 445 grams when I put my .61 with muffler on it. It is a very light weight engine

Re: Opinions wanted on ASP 4Stroke Motors

Yes. That's a good weight for that engine. The weight and performance is about equal to a Saito 56. If I remember correctly my Saito 56 weighed a pound and turned a 12x6 APC prop at 10,800. As long as they can hold up they look to be a pretty good deal. The reviews on RCU seem to be quite positive for all the ASP 4 stokers.

Thanks for the info. George
I keep having the same mechanical problem. I've got a loose nut on the transmitter!
