Hey gang;

I thought I'd post this here to let everyone know there's a new flyers group in Toronto, Canada.

We're meeting most weekends in various fields around the city and it's a mix of electric planes and electric helis. (Nitro is too loud for these areas). It's a relaxed atmosphere with easy-going people for fun flying only so please don't bring any egos.

Anyhow, the group is let by Tom Rawlinson and I'm doing him the favour of posting it here on rccanada because I know there's a lot of fellow Canadians looking for other flyers as well.

If you're interested, please sign up at the forum below where you can find all the info for the next meetups. Hope to see you there!

Re: Toronto, Canada electric flyers group.

You do not have to be sanctioned by Maac to go out and fly....

I think he was saying that unless it's at a MAAC approved field with all the required safety signs... etc. then it won't be covered by MAAC insurance. Doesn't mean you can't do it, just that you have no coverage if you do.
