Re: Raptor 30 Best.......

Never heard of a raptor 30.

No, not at the hobby shop. saw a Raptor jet fighter plane on TV though.

No-didn't need glasses as I have a big screen TV.

I think 65 million and they come with two big factory motors.

Re: Raptor 30 Best.......

I think I saw some Rappy 30s on Great Hobbies' website with and without the engine combo package.

In any case, 30 class Nitro machines are becoming rare to find in the shops because the weight and size of a .30 engine is very close to that of a .50, hence your .30 heli is a small, and unnecessarily heavy heli, so the performance lacks compared to the .50 size, so most people just jump to a .50 or higher if you wanna use it for aerobatics.

.30 size electrics are the hot thing in that size heli (trex 500 etc), because with electric, the weight is reduced dramatically, so it becomes much more aerobatically capable.

the Rappy .30 still a great size for beginners, sport flying or a scale project, and if you wanna later upgrade it to a rappy 50 you just need to give it longer blades, a longer tail and belt, and new gearing from the .50. You will also need a .50 engine as well of course.

Hope that was some helpful info (and then some!)
