Well I lost my job as the down turn hit me and my wife says I may have to park my motorcycle(not going to happen if I can help it)so I need to sell a plane. What I have is a Hanger 9 33% 540 Edge in great shape with 15 flights on it which was done about 3 years ago as we lost are field and haven't been able to fly large gas for some time.I have a Zenoah GT 80 twin hanging up front which was bought at the same time.I replaced all the servo's with new Hitec digital servo's(1 7955-rudder,2 7985-elevators,4 5625-ailerons)as well I have an Smartfly EQ6.Selling airframe alone or with motor or with servo's,eq6.I can use the servo's/eq6 on something else so I will not be selling them on there own.Not going to give the plane away so no lowball offers please as well I don't feel like trying to crate this up so local pickup prefered.New plane sold for $1000 and the motor sold for $1300 so you have an idea what it would cost to replace. Thanks for looking,John

Hangar 9 follows up the enormously successful giant-scale Extra 330S with another 33% scale aerobatic model with the same high quality and superior design. The Edge 540 is a favorite among modelers because of its superior 3D ability, particularly for its ease in hovering and torque rolling. Hangar 9’s high-energy Edge 540 33% ARF is a terrific precision and 3D airplane, perfect for the giant-scale enthusiast looking for the next big thing in the category.
Designed by TOC competitor Mike McConville, the new Edge 540 is constructed from durable, lightweight balsa and plywood, covered in genuine UltraCote for an expert look, and includes a two-piece wing and stab that ensures convenient storage and easy transport to the flying field.

Most importantly, the Edge 540 is a superior aerobatic performer, flying extremely well in both sequence and 3D-style aerobatics. It flies and holds lines impressively, maintains a great presentation in flight, and snaps and shows a definite pitch break in all snap entries. It also tracks well, even in extreme crosswind conditions. 3D maneuvers are no problem for the Edge either.
Wing Span: 97 in
Overall Length: 87.9 in (w/o spinner)
Wing Area: 1760 sq in
Flying Weight: 22-24 lb
Engine Size: 62 - 80cc
Radio: 4 channels
Servos: 8/9
Reduced Aug/30/09 asking $500 for the airframe only with H9 hardware.
