Re: Savage X 4.6 Questions

not sure if it is the most powerful engine but I have an OS VG30 in my Savage and love it. I run a 13, 52 gearing and it is are to stop the truck. Not only that it is very easy to maintain and just need small if any adjustments to needles depending on tempture.

I would recomend this engine to anyone. And it is an OS...

Just my experience.

Re: Savage X 4.6 Questions

i'll second the OS .30VG vote.... the monster low/mid grunt suits the Savage to a "T"

a guy i used to run with in Kitchener ran one in his..... phenomenal power, and he ran it hard for 2 years before a re-build..... mega longevity
