Need saving from a servo saver

Ok Guys here is one.

My buddy has a Hpi Wheely king that keeps breaking the plastic C spring inside the OEM servo saver.

My son has a wheely king and he REALLY beats on it. He smacks into walls full speed hits everything..he is 6 so that does explain alot. He haves not broke 1.

Now back to my buddys truck. I have replaced that little sucker 3 times. I have checked the servo to see if there is missing teeth or is binding. The steering system is working proper and smooth. The servo is centered and trims are centered before the saver is installed. D/R are toned down so the servo is not stressed at the end of the steering travel.
There is no visual sign of abuse or tampering. I put a glob of red silicone on the screw head to see if he was screwing with it but all was well when he droped it off to me.
  • So is there any ideas I may be missing?
  • Are there any upgrades for this servo saver avaliable? (I cannot locate any)

I have lined up a cupple diffrent brands (Traxxas, duratrax) to see if they would work but there is not enough room to get them in place.

Thanks to all who reply.
