Os .50 Hyper Changing Nitro Content

I have a Raptor 50 SE heli with a OS 50 hyper engine that currently burns Power master 15% nitro fuel. I am only in the hover stage and ready for foreward flight soon so I am not too demanding on the engine.I run a governor so I fly at around 1550 rpm. Engine has run great up to this point no hiccups or inconsistancies.I came across a great deal on cool power 30% nitro for about the same price as the 15% so I thought to give it a try. Bought the heli used but have personally burned a jug & a half thru it so far.I have never touched the carb yet will I have to now?The guy at the hobby shop said it may idle a little higher at startup which I can lower my throttle trim.Do I have to richen the engine as well? He said maybe a click or two of the high speed but to fly it first & observe before I do.Anybody have anything to add or a different opinion? Also how do I check for an engine running too hot? I love this heli & dont want to cook it.
