Just wanted to post to remind everyone about the fundraiser on August 15 at Hardwood Ski and Bike!! We are raising money to pay for our new FM radio system that we have been running at races this season. This system has been a welcome upgrade and has made getting info out at the tracks easier!!

The schedule for the week is as follows;

Tuesday August 11 - Open Practice from 2-8 $10
Friday August 14 - Open Practice free with pre registration 2-8
Saturday August 15 - Track opens at 8:00

We are planning for a very laid back day of racing, dare I say it might even be fun!! We will be running Buggy, Truggy, Open MT, EBuggy and Open Slash!! On top of that we will also be running a hotlap competition and a big air competition.

There will be food available on site and there is also limited power available....bring an extension cord.

We would also like to thank our current sponsors who have given generously to support us;
Panther Vision,
Hobby Home,
Common Sense RC

We would also like to welcome some new sponsors; Ideal Hobby and Proline who have signed on for this event, thank you for your support.

Fees for the this event are $25 for your first class, $25 for the second and $5 for your third class.

The track at Hardwood Hills is unique in that its set up in a Euro-meets-supercross style. The dirt has a high sand content that allows for very high speed long jumps with soft landings. The track is laid out over a variety of terrain that includes a massive curved back straight with a major elevation change. It also has carpeted jumps, a section on grass and a sandbox, as well as an exciting full-tilt front straight jump leading to a soft straightaway landing. And lets not forget the wooden rumble strips! Ask anyone who's attended recent events here about this exciting track and I gurantee they'll tell you about it with a giant smile on their face.

This is going to be a great event so come on racer? Not to worry come on out and try racing with the fast guys. Worried about embarrassing yourself on the track not to worry I do it all time!!
