LOL. Its a small world. I have a 2003 Jetta TDI Wagon. I get 1200km to a tank. I can usually squeeze in 60L. So that averages out to 5L/100km. Thats with a 70/30 mix of Highway & City. Its my 4th TDI in the past 12 years.

Anyway, sorry for taking this off topic.

Re: Tamiya Superchamp battery

Ok. So here is the million dollar question. If I sell my Super Champ, what do I buy to replace it?

I did a quick scan on E-bay and found some interesting options. It seems that a lot of the vintage era cars have been re-released. I saw a Frog, which was one of my favorites to build. I also had a Hornet as a kid and hated that one. Too much plastic, terrible suspension, solid rear axle, etc. I see that the Hotshot was also re-released. That was another favorite of mine.

AARG, decisions decisions. Any tips or hints would be appreciated.

Oh, and another question if I may. I see that the re-releases have ESC. I assume that means Electronic Speed Control. Would that make my current 2 channel, 2 servo radio no good? I'm thinking I would have to buy a new one?
