hello everyone. It has been over 20 years since i built my last rc unit. i built two boats and a buggy way back when They were fairly simply builds.
I have always wanted to get back in to building again. Now as i am older i find my self with more free time and $ so i have been wanting to get back into this great hobby.
No my question is i want to build a 4x4 pick up but i do not want a monter truck with huge tires i want a more stock looking kit i have a certain vision in my head for the truck. More of a moutain ranger type i even am trying to come up with a slowplow design.
i am looking at a tamiya high lift tundra kit now with my little knowledge do you think this is going to be a tough build for me.would you recomend a different brand or kit.
also looking for advise on paint camo patterns.
Anyways guys i know this is alot to ask but i am reading some post here and there are alot of guys here buiding fantastic machines

The Tundra High Lift is a GREAT machine. I'm thinking that it will be my next build too.
If you want to build a scale looking kit then you can't beat Tamiya.
Look at the Pajero as well.
