well, the new parkzone bl showed up today, shop didn't have any bnf in stock, so i picked up the rtf....
now this being my first plane i watched my tutor guy fly it for the first 2 packs to get it trimmed and watch it fly and to see if it had any bad traits...
seemed to look alright even with the rhyno 2250mah packs i had wedged in there, didn't have to adjust the cg at all, cut out about a 45 degrees angle out of the center ridge out of the cockpit, 4 clicks right, and about 3 up and it was hands off stable. i got to tell ya this thing will climb, not the fastest climber in the world, but pretty much straight up and deff. to the point where it was getting really hard to see... also cutting the throttle while climbing produced no bad traits as well, didn't seem to want to stall a wing, it'd hit the peak, then nose over and dive...
after the two packs and a couple of smokes i took the controls and had him launch it, took off strait and level, did a few circuits and even landed my first time out... coming in for the landing, and slowing almost to a crawl, (his not mine...lol mine were a wee bit fast) it still wants to track straight.. after landing i tried my hand at hand launching and holding the throttle..(might as well learn now right?? lol) again, an almost perfect launch...
overall i am extremely tickled pink with this bird, even more so now that i know i can run my 2250's in it without a problem.. and would deff. recommend it..
