Basic pilots - something for you

This year we have had a bumper crop of Basic pilots. The competition is fierce and some true talents are starting to emerge... watch out Sportsman guys and everybody else..

In this spirit and by popular request we have started to post "Basic unknown sequences" on Basic pilots, try your hand at them and see how it feels to get that "unknown feeling"...

Unknowns can teach you a lot about your own flying and broaden your skills... getting the hang of the memorization, visualization and calling/flying process takes a bit of practice and that's why we thought these sequences might be useful! We'll try to update it weekly... we hope this helps you take your flying to the next stage and get prepped for next year .

This may be the ticket to building my confidence.

Great idea Isabel I'm working on a few guys in our club.
Brendan Grace in particular is very keen to get going and will be in Basic for sure next year even if I have to fly for him

Steve, you gold digger , you should be in Sportsman at least

Re: Basic pilots - something for you

That is sooo cool! I love this idea! I had my first competition experience at the Nats and thought it'd be cool to have unknowns, although I'm glad I didn't have them for my first time out.

Having these really gives me something to practice with and doing the new and different maneuvers every once in awhile will really help sharpen the skills!
