MAAC magazine article??????

Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
I seem to recall an article in a recent MAAC magazine that was written by a Toronto teacher that was helping Toronto kids learn to fly R/C airplanes. If there was any info on this guy I would appreciate it. I was looking through my store house of stuff and am finding greater amounts of stuff that is no longer useful to me but would be incredible useful in trainer and sport size flying. I would like to donate this stuff (engines, electronics, hardware, software, etc...) to such an organization.

If anyone can find a contact e-mail or something that would be great.

Re: MAAC magazine article??????

Bill Thorne is the president of the Ajax RC Club. He's the one who wrote the article. He works in that area of town and lives out east. He's also a member of the Humber Valley group where he flies with the kids (close to the school)

I'm sure he would love to take whatever you have to offer.

If you want I can PM you his email, just let me know

Re: MAAC magazine article??????

Bill's article appeared as a column item under the RC Sport Flyer Committee report section if anyone wants to look for it. Page 75 of the AUgust 2009 issue.
