Welcome to the hobby.

Congrats on your first flights.

Stay with it, even when things turn out bad

Fly it like you dont want to crash it but when it does, realise that all planes will eventually end up this way...

Hopefully you'll make some friends and you can encourage one-another and help each other out. That's what makes this such a great hobby- so many nice people out there that have the same passion for flight!

Not bad for a first timer... but I did notice a few things that need comment. I'm pretty sure the wind was coming from your left as you were facing the goalpost based on the telltale on your transmitter. You were doing a bunch of crosswind takeoffs, and a bunch of tailwind landings. You need to launch and land into the wind.

Glue 'er up and keep tryin'!

Hey MEDiC! Was that you first time on the sticks or have you had some computer simulator time? Pretty darn good really. I buddy-boxed for a gallon of glow fuel before I soloed. BUT Then too, the planes were nowhere as forgiving (way) back then either!

Impressive durability- looked like repairable damage in the end too. Keep it up you'll be swinging 24" props before you know it.!

Way to go, bro! Congrats on your first flights! I started out with a Super Cub...great little plane to learn with. Looks like you already taped the leading edges with packing tape (if not - do it) and have a decent place to fly. Remember to land into the wind, it helps a lot. If you put some slightly larger foam wheels on it you should have better luck on grass too. I think PM and Action Hobby have lots of replacement parts which are very cheap.

happy flying! (here's a pic of mine, I gave it a paint job...)

Good job Medic...flying higher will give you more room to recover when you're starting out.
