Mounting and Securing MACS Tuned Pipe

I need to mount a 3.5cc MACS tuned pipe to my airplane. The header comes off the engine and turns right down the side of the canopy. Essentially, the pipe will be parallel to the canopy beside it. What would be the best way to secure the pipe to the airplane?

Re: Mounting and Securing MACS Tuned Pipe

What about using adel clamps? They are used on airplanes in many hose type applications. A small aluminum stand-off, then a small bolt through the whole thing might work. Sorry, my cut and paste isn't working that well. Try and google adel clamps, and look around. Good luck, Daren

Re: Mounting and Securing MACS Tuned Pipe

The pipe I have on my Patriot has just a small plastic piece that bolts to the side of the fuse, and then a zip tie holds it in place, so far so good,
