After waiting (im)patiently, my 109 arrived today! PNP version, took about 1/2 hours to put together and set up, and that included soldering on the deans.

First impressions are favorable! This thing looks awesome, with BIG tires (looks to be great for grass), and very scale.

Still crappy weather here, but I'll try to get her up in the next few days and let ya know!

FYI and free plug, Hobbyhobby still has a few left!!!

Re: ParkZone Messerschmitt bf-109! GOT IT!

I already saw a review for it on It sure looks nice.

The tires may be big but the wheels are also narrowly spaced. Much narrower than the other planes in that Parkzone class (e.g. the T28 or Corsair). That might make it tippier on landings. Hopefully you will be able to give your opinion soon.

It is also supposed to be a little more challenging to fly than the T28 or Corsair.

I wonder how those colours will be for orientation? I have the T28D, and as nice as it looks, I have to concentrate to maintain my orientation (it doesn't help that it is only my second plane and I am only in my first year of flying either).

So here's hoping you will get good weather to fly soon so we can read a review.
