Re: Easy star Camera ship

What would the weight of your camera and mount be and does this plane have the same wing area as the EZ? I thought Elapor was exclusive to Multiplex??

Waldopeper

The Canon G10 is 400g the mount would similar yours not exactly sure what the weight would be.

"I thought Elapor was exclusive to Multiplex??"

Not sure but it is rather nice finish. The servos are inside the fuselage that has a little wider profile but very similar to the Easy star. It comes with aileron install and a brushless motor.

Thanks

They sure do! With the right pilot that my problem. I am finding it hard to get use too. Can't hover a fix wing, I always try to fly to slow, Bad idea! : (

Cheers Jerry

Re: Easy star Camera ship

Yes this is a clone sold by Hobby king for around 69.00 us with servos and motor and esc
I think. It is not elapor foam but approximation, best copy Chinese can make.Has good flying reviews, just the durability is not there. Comes tail heavy from the package, no real problem, has large fuse cavity. I had a good look at one.

Re: Easy star Camera ship

Good Morning Jerry
Looks too me like you'll fly that well in a strong wind, with 400 G Camera and Mount...
The cockpit looks like it would accommodate a lb of butter nicely!!LOL
I'm thinking it would be a slow climb,
I'd try it, what can you loose, may be a speedy descent as well unless you've got a stiff breeze...

Re: Easy star Camera ship

Perhaps I will try lighter camera first. The G10 has already survived one bad crash on the heli. Oops!! Warning to all! Never mix 2.4 GHz video down link with 2.4 GHz control system.

Thanks for the input guys.

Here some more pics

Re: Easy star Camera ship

Good luck with that EYE...with your 2200KV motor I'm thinking that you'll be ok. I have the series 6 2000KV on my easystar and it hauls my Panasonic Lumix no trouble at all...but your G10 is heavier. Watch your downwind turns when low and keep your landing speed up a little and I think you'll be fine. Let us know how it works out for you!
