Sold Monday October 26/2009
Up for sale today is a rare MVVS 1.44 Two Stroke Twin glow engine, with a walbro carb. Basically MVVS took two .77 sized two strokes and built one engine. I bought this off ebay a while ago and it has not seen any fuel but did sit mounted on a plane for about a year and has some discoloration due to the use of blue thread-locker that leaked when I mounted the "can" mufflers. I just sold the plane it was on so I don't need this one any longer, so someone who is looking for an unusual engine for their next project can get this at a great price of $300.00 plus $30.00 shipping anywhere in Canada (local to Toronto buyers pay no shipping as I will deliver within 100 km of the city). This is a very complete engine "kit" and comes with two black "can" type mufflers, two muffled tuned pipes and 4 headers, 2 90 degree and 2 straight back headers. It also comes with an Electrodynamics 1900mAH, 2.4 volt glow 2 cylinder on board adjustable glow driver with charger.
These opposing twins are known for there power and smooth running. like all MVVS engines the exhausts ports can be rotated prior to break-in to suit the desired application and use of the different headers, mufflers or pipes depending on your application.
To be honest this engine is not for someone new to the hobby and will require someone with the patience and the ability to get the settings just right to enjoy for a very long time.
Thanks for looking
