New Futaba 8 TX

Reading through the manual for the new Futaba 8-channel 2.4 transmitter, one notes that this TX has a touch sensitive button on the front to enable the user to cycle through the menus.
However, there is a Caution note that states something to the effect that this sensor is subject to interference from a gas engine ignition system, and that the TX should be moved away from the source of the problem.
I'm wondering how useful this new TX would be to anyone who likes gassers?

Re: New Futaba 8 TX
It looks like a very nice transmitter. I think that you would have to be very close to the source of ignition noise for it to be a problem.
Guess the only way to find out is to do a few tests.
I have a 12fg and use the 8 channel rx in my gas plane and it has worked flawlessly.
